Service was quick. The girl on the till was from the old staff. She was working so hard and I felt for her. Food wasn’t good though. The batter was really thick and oily, the chips really soggy. What has happened to the portions too? The chips didn’t cover the bottom of the box, single scoop on a double fish supper meal? I know it is new owners and thought we would try, but unfortunately it is a significant downgrade in food quality and portions. I will not be returning. A real shame as this was our regular fish & chip shop for several years.
